CANCELLATIONS AND REBOOKINGS

Refunds on all bookings and payments made with Meridianos Travel Agency, by any means, are subject to the following:

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

A deposit of 20% of the total price will be required to confirm your booking. The final balance must be received by Meridianos Travel Agency within 35 days prior to the date of arrival at the departure point of your trip. If payment of the final balance is not received within this period, the travel agency reserves the right to cancel reservations. Bookings made less than 35 days prior to the date of arrival at the departure point of your trip must be paid in full before the date of arrival.

You can pay by credit card (Visa or Master Card) or by bank transfer.

Credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% surcharge.

Payments made by bank transfer have no surcharge. Meridianos Travel Agency will take as payment for the contracted services, the amount actually credited to your bank account free of transfer fees charged by the issuing and correspondent banks. Any difference that may arise will be the responsibility of the client to settle it through the available means of payment.

MODIFICATIONS TO RESERVATIONS

In the event of a request to modify a confirmed reservation, Meridianos Travel Agency reserves the right to apply a minimum charge of $50 USD (fifty US dollars) for administrative expenses.

CANCELLATIONS

In the event that you need to cancel a confirmed booking more than 35 days prior to the arrival date, you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid less a cancellation fee of $500 USD (five hundred US dollars). If you have paid less than $500 USD, you will not be entitled to a refund.

In the event that you need to cancel a confirmed booking between 34 and 21 days prior to the arrival date, the cancellation charge will be equivalent to 25% of the total price of the contracted services.

In the event that you need to cancel a confirmed booking between 20 and 10 days before the arrival date, the cancellation fee will be equivalent to 50% of the total price of the contracted services.

In case you need to cancel a confirmed reservation 9 days before the arrival date, the cancellation fee will be equivalent to 100% of the value of the contracted services.

REFUNDS

Those activities and excursions booked by Meridianos Travel Agency as part of the contracted services and which could not be carried out due to weather conditions, will be refunded in full.

This refund does not apply to cancellations due to force majeure (war, terrorism, state of siege, natural or nuclear disasters, epidemics, quarantine, customs or medical regulations, fire, labour disputes or strikes, etc.).

In the case of the contracting of travel programmes, there shall be no right to reimbursement for services included and/or contracted, but not used during the programme by decision of the clients/passengers, such as accommodation costs, car rental, excursions, etc.
